confirmed the promise of his reappearance, progressing as expected with a run behind him and giving the impression he's some way ahead of his mark; never far away, went with enthusiasm, led 3 out, still finding when left clear last, responded well; there's more improvement to come and he'll remain of interest.

is much lower in the weights in this sphere and ran well on a rare hurdles outing; tracked pace, third when ridden before 2 out, left second last; he was second in last year's Welsh National and will head for the same race again in good heart.

back under less testing conditions, stepped up on his reappearance run, close to form, underlining that he has work to do from this mark, but he's still lightly raced enough to have a bit more to offer yet and on this evidence dropping back slightly in trip would be no bad thing; dropped out, travelled better than most, headway eighth, ridden before 2 out, effort flattened out.

Solid form with a lightly raced/improving winner who would have been chased home by a previous course winner had Bobo Mac not crashed out at the last; the pace was on the steady side for a circuit or so but things began in earnest far enough out to make for a fair test.

RED RISING (IRE) confirmed the promise of his reappearance, progressing as expected with a run behind him and giving the impression he's some way ahead of his mark; never far away, went with enthusiasm, led 3 out, still finding when left clear last, responded well; there's more improvement to come and he'll remain of interest.
