This produced the Dawn Run winner in both 2022 and 2023, but this strikes as a lesser renewal, a fairly useful effort enough to see the front runner hold off a strong finisher as they came clear on the flat.

HOLLYGROVE CHA CHA (IRE) benefited from the step back up in trip as she took her career record to an impressive 5 wins from 6 starts; made running, not fluent 4 out, ridden after 2 out, closed down flat, just held on; she'll probably try to emulate stable-companion You Wear It Well, who won this in 2023 before following up in the Dawn Run, though dropping back in trip is unlikely to suit and this form is about 10 lb shy of what that mare produced for her success in this race.

THAT'LL DO MOSS showed much improved form up in grade and clearly relished the longer trip, doing well considering she was conceding the winner both experience and a head start in the race; held up, ridden 2 out, headway approaching last, finished strongly, just failed; she'll stay further still and may well progress again.

BLUE LAS ran well on form without looking up to the task in a higher grade; dropped out, ridden before 2 out, went third flat, never a threat; she's likely to stay further.

HOLLOWAY QUEEN (IRE) didn't actually run any worse than at Haydock considering she was conceding weight all round, though this loss of her unbeaten record puts a bit of a dent in her overall potential; prominent, not fluent fifth, pushed along before 2 out, not quicken, lost third flat.

MUMMY DERRY (IRE) was easy to back faced with a tough task for her hurdling debut after 12 weeks off and wasn't up to it, also tackling soft ground for the first time; mid-division, in touch 3 out, pushed along before 2 out, weakened; a fairly useful bumper winner in the best possible hands, she should do better.
