Winning Owner: Mr Hamdan Al Maktoum

Time: 2m 9.55s Closing Sectional: (4.00f): 52.05s (99.3%)

Not a strong race for the grade and a muddling race, with a stop-start gallop, ultimately won convincingly by the confidently ridden winner, the third, still green, the most interesting of the remainder.

MUQTASER (USA) well backed, after 3 months off, showed improved form under a confident ride, looking the sort to go forward again; slowly into stride, held up, travelled well, headway over 2f out, led over 1f out, won readily.

PERRAULT (IRE) making handicap debut, shaped encouragingly after 3 months off, still in need of experience; waited with, shaken up entering straight, ran green, stayed on final 1f; will be suited by 1½m; remains open to improvement.

STAR SYSTEM (USA) ran creditably after 8 weeks off, though possibly flattered in closing up late on; held up, not settle fully, labouring over 3f out, stayed on final 1f.

INDELIBLE INK (IRE) wasn't disgraced, back against his own age group, though he doesn't look entirely straightforward; chased leader, pushed along home turn, challenged after 3f out, wandered, no extra final 1f.

REMBRANDT turned in a lacklustre display, in trouble well before the 1f longer trip came into play; handy, labouring early in straight.
