had been coming up short in handicaps off marks in the low 80s but found some progression to score at this higher grade, in the process emulating her dam who was also successful at listed level; chased leader, pushed along under 3f out, challenged under 2f out, carried left final 100 yds, led near line; she was better placed than most and will be tricky to place from now on, sure to be off a career-high mark if switched back to handicaps and unlikely to prove capable of defying a penalty at this level.

back down in trip, again ran well having been allowed her own time of things out in front; soon led, kicked on 3f out, tackled under 2f out, headed close home; had the run of the race but is a straightforward type who should remain competitive at this level.

got back on track after a couple of down-the-field efforts, doing well to get as close as she did, too; dwelt, in rear, forced to switch over 1f out, still plenty to do entering final 1f, finished well, nearest at the finish, came from further back than ideal; she's no banker to be in the same form next time, though.

upped in trip, is worth crediting with some improvement, not beaten far and boasting a generally progressive profile; mid-field, pushed along over 2f out, kept on.

ran well from a ratings perspective, but returned to her free-going ways and if there's a bigger performance in the pipeline it will probably come when she gets a sound pace to aim at; waited with, raced freely, ridden 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly when forced to switch inside final 1f, one paced.

on first outing since leaving Mrs J. Harrington after 11 weeks off, was back down in trip but proved to be a disappointment and is perhaps better suited by going that doesn't have 'firm' in the description; slowly into stride, mid-field, shaken up over 3f out, weakened from 2f out.

A fillies' listed race that was run at a stop-start gallop, resulting in quite a tight finish between the first 5 home and favouring those who were never too far away, and it has the feel of a weak renewal, Rousay having come up short in lesser company previously this season.

ROUSAY (IRE) had been coming up short in handicaps off marks in the low 80s but found some progression to score at this higher grade, in the process emulating her dam who was also successful at listed level; chased leader, pushed along under 3f out, challenged under 2f out, carried left final 100 yds, led near line; she was better placed than most and will be tricky to place from now on, sure to be off a career-high mark if switched back to handicaps and unlikely to prove capable of defying a penalty at this level.
