got back on the up, definitely more at home over this trip than further and no knocking her response to pressure as she battled past one of the front-runners with the 2 of them well clear; mid-field, travelled well, shaken up 2f out, led inside final 1f, driven out; she's set to head for the Cheveley Park next, and while it's easy to see her improving again in such company given how she travels, she'd need to to even just make the first 3.

was upped in trip and ran her best race, is still progressing gradually; disputed lead, went on over 2f out, headed inside final 1f, stuck to task; like the winner, she's in the Cheveley Park, but given the stamina in her pedigree, something like the Oh So Sharp over an extra 1f looks more suitable.

was better behaved pre-race this time (wore hood in paddock) but fared little better than at Ascot in the race itself and has become disappointing since looking potentially one of the best of her age/sex at Newmarket in the summer; mid-field, pushed along 3f out, every chance over 1f out, not quicken; there's substance to her listed win given the time, but the jury is out now whether she'll reproduce it.

faced a stiff task in this grade on the back of winning a Ripon novice that fell apart around her and she ran as well as could be expected, ridden to pick up the pieces; held up, pushed along halfway, kept on.

looked good when winning her maiden and hasn't done herself justice on either start in better company since, again shaping better than the bare result here; mid-field but caught a little out wide, ridden over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, effort flattened out; there's still time for her to make into a useful filly.

was one of the more obvious ones on form, albeit more exposed than most, but she wasn't in the same form as last time, typically looking a hard ride; dropped out, not settle fully, pushed along over 2f out, hung left over 1f out, plugged on.

Two useful fillies pulled clear in this Group 3 event, the form well up to scratch for the level, Dark Lady definitely more at home over this trip as she improved on her recent placed efforts at this level over further; the runner-up disputed a strong pace with Dr Simpson.

DARK LADY got back on the up, definitely more at home over this trip than further and no knocking her response to pressure as she battled past one of the front-runners with the 2 of them well clear; mid-field, travelled well, shaken up 2f out, led inside final 1f, driven out; she's set to head for the Cheveley Park next, and while it's easy to see her improving again in such company given how she travels, she'd need to to even just make the first 3.
