has quickly established himself as a dependable type and put up another useful effort to justify support; mid-division, headway when 2f out, led approaching final 1f, edged right, responded well; he'll stay 7f and won't look out of place in listed company.

produced his best effort to date to make the favourite pull out all the stops, coping with the shorter trip, though with a strong finish that serves as a reminder he's already proven over further; held up, headway 2f out, challenged final 1f, stuck to task; already useful after 3 starts, he'll go well again for sure.

ran respectably after 8 weeks off but didn't seem to have the gears to cope with this shorter trip; close up, ridden over 2f out, not quicken, kept on final 1f.
