showed improved form to resume winning ways and is developing a fine course record (2 wins and a third from 3 starts); in touch, ridden over 2f out, led last ½f, kept going well; should continue to give a good account, though the runner-up would be fancied to turn the tables were they to meet again.

making handicap debut, was unlucky not to follow up her impressive Newmarket maiden win, a lack of experience combined with the run of the race seeing her beaten; held up, pushed along over 3f out, edged left, headway 1f out, finished with a flourish, left with too much to do; remains capable of better and is one to keep on side, a return to 1½m likely to suit.

without the headgear this time, ran creditably, proving she can be competitive from this sort of mark, though she had no excuses the way this developed; chased leader, led 3f out, edged right, headed last ½f, kept on.

shaped as if still in good form, not seen to best effect dropping back to this trip for the first time since her debut; in rear, shaken up over 3f out, kept on, never a threat, not knocked about; unsuited by the way the race developed, but will benefit from a return to 1½m all the same.

was backed at long odds early in the day, but ran below form, racing rather awkwardly to boot; mid-division, not settle fully, driven over 2f out, inclined to hang right and faded; may prove best around 1m.

the winner of a C&D maiden on debut last month, disappointed bearing in mind that initial promise, though this was a race that didn't pan out ideally and she is worth another chance; waited with, pushed along over 3f out, never on terms.

An interesting fillies handicap on paper that didn't quite live up to expectations in event, the pace steadying mid-race before the leaders pressed on again approaching the final 3f, the best horse finishing second, Seagull left with too much to do.

ROSEHILL ARTIST (IRE) showed improved form to resume winning ways and is developing a fine course record (2 wins and a third from 3 starts); in touch, ridden over 2f out, led last ½f, kept going well; should continue to give a good account, though the runner-up would be fancied to turn the tables were they to meet again.
