more experienced over fences than all bar the rank outsider, showed a good attitude to follow up his Killarney win, his jumping a real asset in this company; mid-division, headway before home turn, jumped on 3 out, joined next, edged ahead final 100 yds; likely to prove vulnerable in this sort of grade when the better novices start to emerge, so connections will presumably be tempted by the Buck House at Punchestown next month.

who had run well over hurdles last time, turned in a decidedly useful effort on just his third try over the larger obstacles, no mean feat considering he still has something to learn about jumping fences; chased leaders, not always fluent, headway under pressure entering straight, bumped 3 out, every chance from 2 out, no extra only late on.

turned out again quickly, had plenty to find with a few of these on hurdles form and had her winning run ended upped in grade; held up, jumped soundly in main, headway entering straight, third 2 out, kept on; her best chance of picking up a race of this nature will be in a contest confined to her own sex.

lost his unbeaten record over fences with a bit of a whimper, jumping well at the head of affairs but checking out tamely once headed early in the straight; made running, jumped well, headed 3 out, weakened, not knocked about once chance had gone; well worth another chance.

An up-to-scratch renewal of a Grade 3 novice chase that was run at a strong pace; it boiled down to a straight fight between Benruben and Razoul from before 2 out, the former finding plenty to edge it late in the day.

BENRUBEN (IRE) more experienced over fences than all bar the rank outsider, showed a good attitude to follow up his Killarney win, his jumping a real asset in this company; mid-division, headway before home turn, jumped on 3 out, joined next, edged ahead final 100 yds; likely to prove vulnerable in this sort of grade when the better novices start to emerge, so connections will presumably be tempted by the Buck House at Punchestown next month.

ANDALUSA (FR) turned out again quickly, had plenty to find with a few of these on hurdles form and had her winning run ended upped in grade; held up, jumped soundly in main, headway entering straight, third 2 out, kept on; her best chance of picking up a race of this nature will be in a contest confined to her own sex.
