justified good support to go one better than she had in this race last year; close up, jumped on 2 out, tackled entering straight, driven clear; runner-up in the David Nicholson last year, she is likely to face stiffer opposition in that contest this time around.

ran respectably trying this trip for for the first time though, in truth, did little more than pick up the pieces; held up, ridden 2 out, kept on, took second close home.

attempting to concede weight all round, shaped as if needing the run after 10 months off, a scenario that had been forewarned by the market, this tight right-handed circuit no good for her, either; handy, not always fluent, took strong hold, good progress 2 out, every chance when hung left home turn, held when flattened last, lost momentum there and run out of second late on, not knocked about; open to further improvement, particularly when going the other way around.

The market proved a good guide to this Grade 3, the well supported favourite having taken the measure of her main market rival when the latter made a bad mistake at the last.
