has improved with each run this season bar his mishap in the Jersey and looked better than ever as he registered a first win in listed company, displaying a sharp turn of foot to reel in one that had the run of things; dwelt, held up, travelled fluently, headway when switched under 2f out, quickened to lead final 100 yds, won easily; should remain competitive.

who won this race back in 2019, proved he can still make an impact at this level as he turned in his best effort for some time, briefly looking like he may have knicked it early in the straight; made running, kicked on 2f out, tackled approaching final 1f, headed final 100 yds, kept on.

had proved himself to be a reliable performer this season, but produced one of his lesser efforts here and had no obvious excuses; handy, ridden 2f out, every chance approaching final 1f, not quicken final 100 yds.

Not a particularly strong renewal of this listed contest and it was run in deteriorating conditions, Marie's Diamond increasing the tempo from 2f out and the only 3-y-o in the field picking up well to score with plenty to spare.

ALFLAILA has improved with each run this season bar his mishap in the Jersey and looked better than ever as he registered a first win in listed company, displaying a sharp turn of foot to reel in one that had the run of things; dwelt, held up, travelled fluently, headway when switched under 2f out, quickened to lead final 100 yds, won easily; should remain competitive.
