resumed winning ways on softer ground over 1f longer trip, progressing again but still not looking the finished article in the finish, wandering about and causing some anxious monents having looked set to win with more in hand, but come the line he was back in control and he's better than this bare form; in touch, not clear run over 1f out, switched, stayed on to lead final 1f, wandered but always holding on; open to further improvement.

took a big step forward making turf debut upped in grade after 6 weeks off, confirming that he's useful and arguably doing even better than the bare result given the wide route he was asked to take; held up, headway out wide over 1f out, challenged final 1f, stayed on.

showed useful form upped in grade over this 1f longer trip, moving through the race in good style and pulling clear of the others, plenty to like about him looking forward given this was just his second start; held up, good headway over 1f out, switched inside, kept on, pulled clear of remainder; open to further improvement.

was below best upped in grade after 6 weeks off but travelled with fluency before not finding a great deal, perhaps the softer conditions doing for him here; prominent, travelled smoothly, led over 1f out, headed final 1f, weakened; in good hands and remains with potential.

followed a good run with a below-par one, but not much went right for her here, poorly away and then making a big move on the outer which was unlikely to be sustained; slowly into stride, in rear, headway out wide 3f out, bumped over 1f out, weakened, left poorly placed.
