was in a significantly less competitive race than he'd finished third in at Goodwood last week and readily took advantage of the drop in class, looking better than ever, thriving on racing since back with this yard after a spell hurdling; made all, travelled strongly, drew clear over 2f out, unchallenged; the handicapper will hit him pretty hard for this, however, and it'll be tougher back in a top-end handicap from a fair bit higher in the weights next time.

ran respectably to be second again but couldn't lay a glove on Stars Over The Sea; mid-division, chased leader 3f out, one paced, no impression on winner.

continues to fall in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage, just operating below best at present; chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, one paced, always around same position.

followed a good run with a below-par one, rather typically, as he's not the easiest to predict; in rear, went with little fluency, labouring 3f out, never dangerous.

showed a little bit more last time but still only beat a couple home that day and has basically become disappointing; held up, typically took strong hold, progress over 3f out, hung badly left over 1f out, weakened, looked awkward; he's one to leave alone.

ran no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces, perhaps resenting the headgear; close up, raced indolently, weakened over 2f out, turned it in.
