who still looked a work in progress on the last of 3 starts at around 1¼m for John Gosden last autumn, was suited by the step up in trip and made a winning start for her new yard after 8 months off; mid-division, smooth headway early in straight, quickened to lead 1f out, stayed on well; open to further improvement and would look well treated under a penalty if taking up an entry for the John Smith's Cup at York, though she seems booked for pattern company after this and wouldn't look out of place in something like the Lancashire Oaks, a race in which her dam finished second in 2009.

got back on track after a further 8 months off, offering hope she may yet develop into the sort of performer befitting her pedigree, in good hands to do so; held up, raced wide, headway under pressure from 2f out, kept on well final 1f; worth another try at further than 1½m having reportedly suffered an irregular heartbeat in last season's Queens Vase.

was well backed bidding for a 4-timer, not good enough up in grade on this occasion, though he wasn't disgraced and remains capable of winning a race of this nature; handy, typically travelled well, went second 2f out, slightly hampered approaching final 1f, not quicken close home.
