making handicap debut, proved his opening mark to be a lenient one as he made light work of a competitive-looking race to get off the mark; in touch, travelled smoothly, shaken up early in straight, quickened to lead over 1f out, kept on well, won readily, well positioned; open to more improvement, he's one to follow.

was clearly amiss last time and he wasted no time getting back to form, proving himself in a better quality of race, this also being the fastest ground he's encountered so far; handy, ridden over 2f out, one paced.

claimer ridden, seemed to find the drop to sprint trips against him, though still ran creditably and certainly looks to be going the right way, the promise of his previous run still fresh in the mind; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, kept on close home, never nearer; will be suited by a return to 7f and remains one to be interested in.
