ran best race, objective achieved with her gaining some black type, though she's struggled at this level in the past and may continue to do so after this, an opportunistic element to the win with the majority of her rivals not at their best on the day, handling conditions better than most; mid-field, travelled well, good headway over 2f out, stayed on to lead last ½f, ridden out.

ran well, going for much of the race like the best horse at the weights, just not seeing out a soundly-run mile in testing conditions quite so strongly as the winner; prominent, travelled best, went on over 2f out, tackled approaching final 1f, headed last ½f, no extra; will continue to give good account.

A fairly well-contested listed event for fillies and mares but conditions took their toll, very little landing a blow behind the pair who handled the ground best, Dutch Rose arguably going like the best horse at the weights but not seeing it out quite so strongly as Audacia.

AUDACIA (IRE) ran best race, objective achieved with her gaining some black type, though she's struggled at this level in the past and may continue to do so after this, an opportunistic element to the win with the majority of her rivals not at their best on the day, handling conditions better than most; mid-field, travelled well, good headway over 2f out, stayed on to lead last ½f, ridden out.

VANITY RULES showed improved form despite not being ideally placed here, shaping as though well worth another try at 1¼m; held up, still plenty to do over 2f out, headway approaching final 1f, stayed on.

AMULET was well backed but again ran below form, her handling conditions and a good position relative to most aiding her finishing position; led, headed approaching 2f out, driven soon after, plugged on.

BOONGA ROOGETA followed below-par effort with even worse one, unable to adopt her usual tactics; mid-division, brief headway over 2f out, never a threat.

PAVLOSK (USA) was well held but is best not judged on this, failing to handle conditions; mid-field, pushed along over 2f out, never on terms.

BUTTERFLY MCQUEEN (USA) has form on softer ground, albeit when winning a maiden, but ran no sort of race, having no response when pressure was applied; ridden 3f out, soon beaten.

MU'AJIZA faced a stiff task in this grade and found run of good form coming to a halt; held up, good headway 3f out, every chance approaching 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

STELLAR EXPRESS (IRE) attracted support, presumably on account of her ability to handle softer ground, but was well held; chased leader, ridden 3f out, folded.

MASARAH (IRE) unproven on the ground, ran no sort of race; prominent, off the bridle before most, weakened over 2f out.
