back over fences, got back on track in first-time tongue strap to spring a surprise on this second start for his new stable, probably running close to the pick of his hurdles form in doing so; mid-division, travelled well, blundered seventh, in contention home turn, mistake 2 out, stayed on strongly run-in, led on line, outbattled runner-up; remains to be seen if able to back this up.

is clearly competitive off this sort of mark and, retried in headgear/tongue strap, ran another good race to be placed for the third successive start, though left the impression he really should have won this one; waited with, jumped well in main, travelled powerfully, in contention from early final circuit, went on 3 out, looked in control next, joined run-in, headed on line, rather worried out of it (though possibly would have benefited from stronger handling late on).

ran respectably enough back down in trip and, although it's possible he found this race providing barely enough of a test this time, the chances are he's simply summed up by his handicap mark at present; waited with, headway early final circuit, outpaced before home turn, stuck to task.

back up in trip, didn't get his own way up front this time and failed to repeat last effort; made running, joined 4 out, headed next, weakened latter stages, already held when blundered last, finished tired.

found run of good form coming to a halt and the handicapper may well be in control now but, in truth, this run is probably best ignored as he was let down by uncharacteristic jumping errors more than anything else; mid-division, hampered before fifth, lost further ground when bad mistake there, always behind after, blundered badly again ninth, beaten some way out (not unduly knocked about).

had been progressing steadily over fences and, provided he wasn't seriously injured here, this run can probably be safely ignored; mid-division, never really travelling well, pulled up sharply before fifth, seemed amiss.

retried in headgear and back over fences, flopped for the first time since joining this yard, another quick turnaround possibly an issue here though it wouldn't be a surprise if something else came to light; handy, lost place when mistakes seventh and eighth (water), reminders soon after, dropped away quickly early final circuit, possibly amiss.

Not the strongest of races for the money, with several of the market principals performing well below expectations for various reasons, so a fairly cautious view of the form seems best for now; the pace was at least a relatively sound one.

RUN WITH THE WIND (IRE) back over fences, got back on track in first-time tongue strap to spring a surprise on this second start for his new stable, probably running close to the pick of his hurdles form in doing so; mid-division, travelled well, blundered seventh, in contention home turn, mistake 2 out, stayed on strongly run-in, led on line, outbattled runner-up; remains to be seen if able to back this up.

GLEANN NA NDOCHAIS (IRE) ran respectably enough back down in trip and, although it's possible he found this race providing barely enough of a test this time, the chances are he's simply summed up by his handicap mark at present; waited with, headway early final circuit, outpaced before home turn, stuck to task.

BUNCLODY back up in trip, didn't get his own way up front this time and failed to repeat last effort; made running, joined 4 out, headed next, weakened latter stages, already held when blundered last, finished tired.

RUSSIAN REGENT (IRE) found run of good form coming to a halt and the handicapper may well be in control now but, in truth, this run is probably best ignored as he was let down by uncharacteristic jumping errors more than anything else; mid-division, hampered before fifth, lost further ground when bad mistake there, always behind after, blundered badly again ninth, beaten some way out (not unduly knocked about).
