has been a shining light in what's been a turbulent season for the yard and followed up from her success in a similar event in France, typically relishing the testing conditions and producing a career best, her rider electing to do a solo towards the far rail, that largely due to the fact that she tends to go left under pressure; disputed lead, tanked along, went on end of back straight, ridden 3f out, drew clear under 2f out, eased close home; she's a credit to connections and will always be towards the top of the shortlist when the mud is flying.

strong in the betting with the stable going great guns, was rerouted here after narrowly missing the cut for the Balmoral and, back up in trip/under more testing conditions, typically gave running upped in grade; raced off the pace, pushed along over 3f out, kept on well from 2f out, took second final strides; remains one to follow in similar events as a 4-y-o.

back down in trip after 6 weeks off, ran about as well as could have been expected returned to this grade but continues to make life hard for herself at the start; very slowly away, in rear, driven under 3f out, headway when hung left over 1f out, plugged on.

The first running of this listed race since 2021 and it was dominated by a prolific 4-y-o, chased home by the likeable favourite a year her junior who remains the best long-term prospect; all bar Sparks Fly came towards the centre but this was settled by much more than track position.

SPARKS FLY has been a shining light in what's been a turbulent season for the yard and followed up from her success in a similar event in France, typically relishing the testing conditions and producing a career best, her rider electing to do a solo towards the far rail, that largely due to the fact that she tends to go left under pressure; disputed lead, tanked along, went on end of back straight, ridden 3f out, drew clear under 2f out, eased close home; she's a credit to connections and will always be towards the top of the shortlist when the mud is flying.

QIRAT strong in the betting with the stable going great guns, was rerouted here after narrowly missing the cut for the Balmoral and, back up in trip/under more testing conditions, typically gave running upped in grade; raced off the pace, pushed along over 3f out, kept on well from 2f out, took second final strides; remains one to follow in similar events as a 4-y-o.

AL MUBHIR revels in the mud and wasted no time getting back on track; handy, travelled well, ridden 2f out, left behind by winner soon after (lost second near line).

CANOODLED (IRE) back down in trip after 6 weeks off, ran about as well as could have been expected returned to this grade but continues to make life hard for herself at the start; very slowly away, in rear, driven under 3f out, headway when hung left over 1f out, plugged on.

GREY'S MONUMENT proved a major let-down, beaten by more than the step back up in trip; disputed lead until end of back straight, remained prominent, driven 3f out, dropped away over 1f out.
