continues to go from strength to strength, making light of his latest rise in grade and completing the 4-timer with his most impressive victory to date; dwelt, waited with, headway on bridle under 2f out, produced to lead over 1f out, stormed clear; a good-quartered gelding who could have more to come, he appeals as the type who'll be plying his trade in high-end handicaps at 5 yrs.

won over this C&D around this time last year and, in first-time cheekpieces after just 4 days off, shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests; slowly into stride, raced near side off the pace, had to wait for gap over 2f out and only got room to open up 1f out, stayed on well, not unduly punished, left poorly placed; she'll be one to consider if she can be found another race before the season ends.

Time: 59.28s Closing Sectional: (3f): 34.7s (101.7%)

A new initiative, a 2-y-o+ handicap, and though it was a bit of a let-down from that point of view, the only juvenile who turned up forced to run from 5 lb out of the weights, this is still solid form for the grade, the thriving winner routing some other in-form types in a good time; the race developed centre-to-far side, leaving those horses who came more towards the stand rail at a disadvantage.

RAASEL continues to go from strength to strength, making light of his latest rise in grade and completing the 4-timer with his most impressive victory to date; dwelt, waited with, headway on bridle under 2f out, produced to lead over 1f out, stormed clear; a good-quartered gelding who could have more to come, he appeals as the type who'll be plying his trade in high-end handicaps at 5 yrs.
