proved better than ever, gaining a fifth win from just 8 starts since joining this yard, no mean feat considering where they got her from; raced wide, in rear, travelled well, good headway over 3f out, led over 1f out, hung left, driven out; she should continue to give a good account.

back in headgear, ran well on form but it was a thoroughly dislikeable effort, not looking at all keen; hampered start, soon behind and went with little fluency, headway under pressure 3f out, kept on well final 1f, never nearer; he's already proven on fibresand, and will have options there from now on, but his temperament is worth monitoring after this.

A well-run handicap that tested stamina at the trip, the front-running second deserving of credit for splitting a pair that came from behind, the form solid enough but the race wasn't as competitive as it might have been with a few disappointing.

MAID IN MANHATTAN (IRE) proved better than ever, gaining a fifth win from just 8 starts since joining this yard, no mean feat considering where they got her from; raced wide, in rear, travelled well, good headway over 3f out, led over 1f out, hung left, driven out; she should continue to give a good account.

CELESTIAL FORCE (IRE) continues in top form, typically giving it his all and, if anything, deserving of extra credit having set a sound pace, a shame that he's only got 1 win to show for his efforts this year; led, tackled over 2f out, headed over 1f out, kept on; he'll continue to run well.

SMARTER (IRE) back in headgear, ran well on form but it was a thoroughly dislikeable effort, not looking at all keen; hampered start, soon behind and went with little fluency, headway under pressure 3f out, kept on well final 1f, never nearer; he's already proven on fibresand, and will have options there from now on, but his temperament is worth monitoring after this.

CONTREBASSE in first-time cheekpieces, typically gave running, this not getting to the bottom of him, either, meeting a bit of trouble and shaping as if he'll benefit from a return to 2m; mid-field, short of room around 3f out, switched, headway approaching final 1f, stayed on.

SASSIE (IRE) again shaped well, looking third best at worst when making her move, that perhaps just happening a shade earlier than ideal; raced wide, held up, travelled better than most, good headway over 3f out, every chance soon after, no extra last ½f; she remains one to bear in mind.

KENSINGTON ART shaped as if still in good form for a fair way, not seeing things out as well as he might have; close up, shaken up 3f out, faded under 2f out.

BE MY SEA (IRE) wasn't in the same form as last time, seen to good effect on that occasion; in touch, pushed along over 3f out, faded over 1f out.

SINGING THE BLUES (IRE) turned in a rare poor effort; raced wide, mid-field, pushed along approaching 3f out, edged right, faded.

ROYAL FLAG wasn't in the same form as last time; mid-field, went in snatches, lost place entering straight, no further impression.

MOTAHASSEN (IRE) out of the handicap, was well held; never on terms.

FOLLOW INTELLO (IRE) ran poorly, presumably unsuited by conditions; prominent, weakened 2f out.

DAGUENEAU (IRE) probably needed the run on first outing since leaving Ed Dunlop after 3 months off; prominent, weakened over 2f out; he has the attributes to make a hurdler for his new yard.

EYE OF THE STORM (IRE) ran no sort of race; off the bridle before most, never on terms; his 2 wins this year have been the bright spots on what has otherwise been a pretty underwhelming campaign.
