seemingly fragile of late (off another 4 months), nonetheless resumed winning ways in a race he was entiled to win at the weights; mid-field, went with enthusiasm, loomed up entering final 1f, led close home and just did enough; clearly retains at least a major portion of his ability, though how much higher he can go again remains to be seen.

back down in trip and claimer ridden, seemed to excel herself, readily beaten in handicaps from a mark of 85 on her previous 2 starts, the form potentially rather muddling, though it shouldn't affect her handicap mark; held up, headway when forced to switch inside final 1f, kept on well, took second post.

back down in trip, ran about as well as could have been expected upped in grade, seemingly just about useful but no better at present; tracked pace, effort 2f out, one paced.

who won this race last year, returned having had a breathing operation in the 7 weeks since last seen, but failed to see his race out, yet to get close to his 2018 form this season; chased leader, challenged over 1f out, edged left/weakened inside final 1f, eased off in the end.

All 5 ran.

Winning Owner: Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum

Time: 1m 0.05s Closing Sectional: (3.00f): 35.15s (101.7%)

Little to separate a pair of smart sprinters at the top of the market and in the race itself, though the fact that the runner-up seemed to run well above herself in getting in amongst them clearly provides the possibility that this form isn't particularly robust, last year's winner Tarboosh again failing to fire.
