Not so competitive a nursery as might have been expected for the money, more than a third of the field out of the weights, and it's competitiveness was reduced further by those drawn high seeming disadvantaged, but it's surely still worth taking a fairly positive view of the first 3 given they finished so far clear.

DADDIES GIRL (IRE) showed much improved form as she defied a 6 lb rise to follow up, a good test at 6f seemingly right up her street and clearly thriving despite having been on the go since April; mid-field, headway under pressure 2f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, forged clear.

HARD GRAFT hasn't made much of an impact in a couple of nurseries since being gelded; mid-field, pushed along halfway, made no impression.
