won on firm ground earlier in the season but she clearly handles very testing ground well too as she followed up her Leicester win, this form having plenty more substance to it and evidently a useful filly; disputed lead, went on 2f out, joined inside final 1f, found extra.

could have won several nurseries to get her rating up to the level she achieved here, but as an expensive breeze-up purchase it's a case of job done in terms of picking up some black type, confirming she hadn't been seen to anything like best effect the time before; chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, upsides over 1f out, edged out only late on, pulled clear of rest.

Non Runners: HAPPY ROMANCE (IRE).

Winning Owner: Middleham Park Racing XXVIII

Time: 1m 15.2s Closing Sectional: (3.00f): 37.70s (99.7%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 118%, Betfair SP 101.6%

This is rarely a strong race of its type, this year's contest losing plenty of interest after Group 3 winner Happy Romance was withdrawn because of the ground, plenty failing to handle the conditions; still, the first 2 recorded useful efforts that stand up well on the clock compared to the rest of the card.

VENTURA DIAMOND (IRE) won on firm ground earlier in the season but she clearly handles very testing ground well too as she followed up her Leicester win, this form having plenty more substance to it and evidently a useful filly; disputed lead, went on 2f out, joined inside final 1f, found extra.
