sprang a surprise, turning the tables on the second and third from Sandown, coping well with firmer ground than previously and showing marked improvement again, seemingly just thriving on racing; in touch, outpaced over 2f out, switched over 1f out, headway to lead inside final 1f, kept on well.

again well backed, couldn't confirm placings with the winner from last time, but ran creditably, again shaping as if she will be suited by 1m; led, ridden 2f out, headed inside final 1f, kept on.

ran her best race, suited by the return to 7f and looking rather more straightforward too; waited with, had to wait for gap over 2f out, effort after, every chance final 1f, kept on; will stay 1m; has been highly tried since debut, but is clearly more than good enough to win a race at a lower level.

was below form, ridden closer to the pace, edgy beforehand and perhaps not in an ideal state to do herself justice; handy, shaken up over 2f out, no extra inside final 1f.

quickly stepped up in class, ran well below expectations, the race perhaps coming sooner than ideal; handy, shaken up 2f out, no extra, weakened final 1f; she'd looked capable of better and may well progress another time.

faced a stiffer task in this grade and was unable to build on her debut win, this perhaps coming a bit too soon after just 9 days off; held up, effort over 2f out, made little impression.

The Star Stakes at Sandown proved the key contest so far as this Group 3 was concerned, the second, third and fourth that day reopposing, the form turned on its head with the fourth coming out on top, the form of this race looking below standard, the contest weakened with 2 of the co-favourites not giving their running, the race marred by a fatal injury to the very promising Fly Miss Helen.
