resumed progress/winning ways, more than likely benefiting from a galloping test on turf having done most of her racing up to now on the all-weather; close up, travelled well, led 2f out, tackled final 1f, just held on; there's no good reason why she won't continue to run well.

had a standout chance at the weights from 3 lb lower than when second at Windsor recently, a 5-lb claimer up for good measure, and probably would've gone one better had her effort started a bit earlier; mid-division, travelled fluently, shaken up under 2f out, good headway entering final 1f, stayed on well, just failed; she's clearly in top form.

was unsurprisingly popular in the betting making her handicap debut for top connections but didn't look well-in on her form up to now and had no obvious excuses for failing to do any better; dwelt, in touch, challenged 2f out, left behind final 1f; perhaps a step back up in trip will help her unlock some improvement (stamina on dam's side of pedigree).

making turf/handicap debut, after 4 months off, was never in it but should find this aiding her development and doesn't look out of things from her opening mark, with much weaker races an option; held up, shaken up 2f out, made no impression, not knocked about.

Not that many struck as well treated but the runner-up was officially ahead of the handicapper and the winner improved a chunk to hold her off as the pair left the rest trailing inside the last 1f; the pace was fair.

DARK REGARD resumed progress/winning ways, more than likely benefiting from a galloping test on turf having done most of her racing up to now on the all-weather; close up, travelled well, led 2f out, tackled final 1f, just held on; there's no good reason why she won't continue to run well.
