has come a long way in little time, needing supplementing for this after storming onto the scene with her wide-margin Newbury win and she ran to a smart level as she maintained her unbeaten record in pretty gritty fashion, her effort a likeable one; slowly into stride, in touch, shaken up over 2f out, not quicken initially, headway final 1f, stayed on to lead final 50 yds; she's sure to progress further and will make an impact in good company at 3 yrs, the Guineas the obvious target, even if she'll get further later on.

may have lost her unbeaten record, but she shaped very well, making her move earlier than ideal, impressing with the way she quickened to the front before being outstayed by the winner; held up, travelled well, good headway over 2f out, quickened to lead over 1f out, kept on, headed final 50 yds; she's open to further improvement and is a serious contender for the Guineas in the spring.

ran creditably over 1f longer trip, though seemed beaten fair and square; close up, shaken up 3f out, not quicken over 1f out, kept on inside final 1f; she doesn't have a lot of scope, though she may have more to offer at 3 yrs over middle distances.

on softer ground than previously, ran respectably, up in grade, leaving the impression the track didn't suit her, though she will also benefit from an increased test of stamina; handy, not quicken over 2f out (awkward in Dip), kept on well again last ½f.

ran as well as could be expected upped further in grade, though she did plenty soon enough and might have done even better under a more conservative ride; prominent, led halfway, shaken up over 3f out, hung right, headed over 1f out, no extra.

progressed again, though the step up in grade looked a bit much for her at this stage of her career; raced off the pace, pushed along over 3f out, stayed on approaching final 1f, nearest at the finish; she's the type to do better again at 3 yrs.

A field with plenty of depth for one of the very best 2-y-o fillies pattern events, the race having built a strong record for identifying those that go on to success at the highest level at 3 yrs, the last 5 winners, who include Laurens and Minding, all winning again at Group 1 level, last year's renewal seeing Iridessa beat the subsequent dual Guineas winner Hermosa, this form looking up to standard, the first 2 unbeaten in 2 starts coming into the race, both remaining bona fide Guineas contenders.

QUADRILATERAL has come a long way in little time, needing supplementing for this after storming onto the scene with her wide-margin Newbury win and she ran to a smart level as she maintained her unbeaten record in pretty gritty fashion, her effort a likeable one; slowly into stride, in touch, shaken up over 2f out, not quicken initially, headway final 1f, stayed on to lead final 50 yds; she's sure to progress further and will make an impact in good company at 3 yrs, the Guineas the obvious target, even if she'll get further later on.

POWERFUL BREEZE may have lost her unbeaten record, but she shaped very well, making her move earlier than ideal, impressing with the way she quickened to the front before being outstayed by the winner; held up, travelled well, good headway over 2f out, quickened to lead over 1f out, kept on, headed final 50 yds; she's open to further improvement and is a serious contender for the Guineas in the spring.

LOVE (IRE) ran creditably over 1f longer trip, though seemed beaten fair and square; close up, shaken up 3f out, not quicken over 1f out, kept on inside final 1f; she doesn't have a lot of scope, though she may have more to offer at 3 yrs over middle distances.

CAYENNE PEPPER (IRE) on softer ground than previously, ran respectably, up in grade, leaving the impression the track didn't suit her, though she will also benefit from an increased test of stamina; handy, not quicken over 2f out (awkward in Dip), kept on well again last ½f.

BOOMER ran as well as could be expected upped further in grade, though she did plenty soon enough and might have done even better under a more conservative ride; prominent, led halfway, shaken up over 3f out, hung right, headed over 1f out, no extra.

QUEEN DAENERYS (IRE) progressed again, though the step up in grade looked a bit much for her at this stage of her career; raced off the pace, pushed along over 3f out, stayed on approaching final 1f, nearest at the finish; she's the type to do better again at 3 yrs.

ANANYA was well held on softer ground than previously; raced off the pace, labouring over 3f out.

ANASTARSIA (IRE) looked out of her depth, never looking remotely like landing a blow; slowly into stride, always behind.

WEST END GIRL was well held in an even better race, doing her part in ensuring a good pace but done with a long way out; led until halfway, lost place soon after.
