was strong in the betting and followed up her Lowther success, has progressed well through the ranks, building on that Group 2 win, producing a smart effort to give her trainer a third successive win in the race; in touch, smooth progress over 2f out, led inside final 100 yds, driven out; she's been kept to 6f so far and it's a fair chance she'll prove best at up to this trip - which might make placing her next year difficult - this form a fair way behind the pick of the 2-y-o sprinting colts.

was back under a fully-fledged rider this time and improved further, again going down only narrowly to Fairyland, but showing that Lowther form was no fluke and that it was perhaps a little better than given credit for at the time; chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, kept going well; she'd been sold privately since last seen, and new connections will surely be delighted with their investment.

has back-to-back placings in a pair of Group 1s on her CV now, progressing again in form terms with this form having more substance to it than the Phoenix, with the stronger pace seeing her to better effect; mid-field, went with zest, ridden over 1f out, every chance inside final 1f, no extra late on; elements of her pedigree suggest she ought to stay further, but she races like a sprinter for the time being.

came here as the leading 2-y-o filly, and remains so, the bar she cleared in the Morny unsurpassed by the first 3 here, but a hard race there has perhaps left a mark with Signora Cabello also failing to reproduce it, just all the more laboured this time and never looking like getting to the front (made all for her 2 most recent wins); mid-field, pushed along over 2f out, not quicken; she's been kept to 6f so far, without necessarily looking like an out-and-out sprinter and is certainly worth a crack at a Guineas trial next spring.

back up in trip, produced best effort to date, perhaps finding extra stimulation from the first-time blinkers and arguably deserving of extra credit given this didn't seem to get to the bottom of her; slowly into stride, held up, travelled well, shaken up over 1f out, kept on and never nearer, finishing with running left; she's already had a fair bit of racing, but could be one for her trainer's Breeders' Cup squad, given that experience and her pedigree.

back down in trip, failed to build on the promise of her run in the Moyglare, but possibly found this race coming too soon after a hard race there, her finishing effort again lacking somewhat; close up, led briefly over 1f out, effort flattened out; there's plenty of speed in her pedigree and she really ought to prove as effective at 6f as 7f.

turned out again quickly, ran as well as could be expected, providing further proof that she's a useful filly, and versatile with regards ground too, conditions much quicker than those she won on at Ayr last week; held up, pushed along over 2f out, kept on.

wasn't disgraced after 5 weeks off, not far below her Princess Margaret form given that she was only just over 3 lengths off the winner for all she never looked like playing a hand in the closing stages; slowly into stride, patiently ridden, effort over 2f out, not quicken; she strikes as one that could be tough to place from hereon, but with black type already gained, it's perhaps a case of job done anyway.

was easy to back and proved a let-down for the first time in her career, the signs clear from an early stage that she wasn't herself for whatever reason; held up, ridden before halfway, lost place over 1f out; she's had a productive first season, bagging a brace of Group 2s, while her second in the Morny leaves her rated higher than the winner of this, but it could be a case of this much and no more with a view to next year given her pedigree and lack of size.

A representative field for this year's Cheveley Park, with most of the winners of the other juvenile fillies pattern sprints taking their chance, and it was the Lowther form that came to the fore, but with less than 3½ lengths separating the first 8, it's hard to see this as a strong renewal, the form no more than on a par for what you would expect for the level, the pair that stood out beforehand on their Morny form against the colts both running below form; the pace was sound, but it still paid to race in the first half of the field.

FAIRYLAND (IRE) was strong in the betting and followed up her Lowther success, has progressed well through the ranks, building on that Group 2 win, producing a smart effort to give her trainer a third successive win in the race; in touch, smooth progress over 2f out, led inside final 100 yds, driven out; she's been kept to 6f so far and it's a fair chance she'll prove best at up to this trip - which might make placing her next year difficult - this form a fair way behind the pick of the 2-y-o sprinting colts.
