confirmed herself a high-class filly with another wide-margin succces, this display every bit as good as Ascot whilst adding another string to her bow with regards tactics, a no-nonsense ride from the front allowing her to show her superiority, having most of her rivals out of their comfort zone by halfway and sealing things in a matter of strides when asked; made running, tanked along, quickened clear over 2f out, kept on well; clearly the outstanding miler of her generation, she'll continue to take all the beating, the Prix Jacques le Marios reportedly next on the agenda.

after 5 weeks off, got back on track and then some after her blip in France, no match for the outstanding winner but posting a smart display that puts her not far off the best of the rest in this division; in touch in stand-side group, headway 3f out, left behind by Alpha Centauri soon after but stuck to her task well to edge out Clemmie; she could continue progressing as she fills her frame and may pick up a race at this level provided she's kept away from the winner.

did better than on her first 2 starts this year, but has essentially been a disappointment this campaign bearing in mind what she achieved as a juvenile, and is best judged on her more recent form as a result; led group (prominent overall), shaken up over 3f out, plugged on from 2f out; she's bred to stay 1¼m without necessarily improving for it, and it could just be that she needs her sights lowering.

after 6 weeks off, is a borderline smart sort who has been well placed to win a Group 2 but was flying too high in this grade; mid-field, struggling soon after halfway, dropped away.

is better judged on previous form as she's not up to this level and paid the price for trying to keep tabs with a vastly superior rival, dropping away from 3f out as that effort told.

ran no sort of race and just doesn't seem at home on undulating tracks, making her better judged on her distant second to Alpha Centauri at Ascot.

might be slightly flattered by her win last time and isn't up to this top level, but wasn't in any sort of form 7 weeks on even allowing for that, beaten a long way out.

Another dominant display from Alpha Centauri, who cemented her place at the top of the miling tree this year with as good a display as we've seen in a Falmouth since this race was upgraded to Group 1 status in 2004 - only dual winner Soviet Song is in the same bracket - the field of smart fillies in opposition unable to live with her from some way out and trailing in at fairly wide intervals.

ALPHA CENTAURI (IRE) confirmed herself a high-class filly with another wide-margin succces, this display every bit as good as Ascot whilst adding another string to her bow with regards tactics, a no-nonsense ride from the front allowing her to show her superiority, having most of her rivals out of their comfort zone by halfway and sealing things in a matter of strides when asked; made running, tanked along, quickened clear over 2f out, kept on well; clearly the outstanding miler of her generation, she'll continue to take all the beating, the Prix Jacques le Marios reportedly next on the agenda.
