unlucky not to finish closer in the 'Dash' at Epsom last time, was ridden more prominently and gained compensation in no uncertain terms, this his best performance for over 2 years; in touch, travelled well, led approaching final 1f, edged right, driven out; can't totally be relied upon at this stage of his career but the handicapping scope will be there to follow up.

eased in grade, returned to form from rather out of the blue; in touch, effort over 1f out, stayed on; it is probably asking too much for him to scale the heights of a couple of seasons ago (lightly raced since), but he is handily treated if able to back up/build on this.

failed to complete the hat-trick having been raised another 8 lb, but this represents a further step forward in defeat, beaten by a pair of battle-hardened performers who were well treated on past exploits; held up, ridden over 1f out, finished well; remains one to be interested in.

gives his running more often than not, but isn't the easiest to win with, a record of 3-39 (1-30 on turf) evidence of that; mid-division, raced freely, ridden when switched approaching final 1f, ran on late.

wasted no time getting back on track, though needs to pull out extra to defy this sort of mark, 9 lb higher than when winning at Salisbury last September; mid-division, headway 1f out, kept on until one paced close home.

attracted support reverted to turf and continues to shape as if he has a bigger performance in him, his rider not getting to the bottom of him for whatever reason, a return to 6f - as mentioned previously - an option worth exploring for all he plainly possesses the speed to be effective at this trip; waited with, shaken up over 1f out, late headway.

back on turf, offered something to work on after 6 months off (reportedly suffered an overreach when last seen), no surprise were he right back on song next time; slowly into stride, in rear, short of room and stumbled soon after start, went with enthusiasm, crept closer halfway, shaken up approaching final 1f, never landed a blow.

A good sprint handicap both in terms of quality and competitiveness, Humidor repelling the late challenge of fellow 8-y-o Kingsgate Choice, the up-and-coming favourite losing little caste in defeat by finishing a close third.

HUMIDOR (IRE) unlucky not to finish closer in the 'Dash' at Epsom last time, was ridden more prominently and gained compensation in no uncertain terms, this his best performance for over 2 years; in touch, travelled well, led approaching final 1f, edged right, driven out; can't totally be relied upon at this stage of his career but the handicapping scope will be there to follow up.
