had produced an abject display on stable debut last month but was sparked to life in first-time blinkers on all-weather debut, showing much improved form to make short work of this field; made all, ridden over 2f out, forged clear; connections will presumably be keen to try to get her out under a penalty, sure to take all the beating if the blinkers work as well next time.

reamins in good heart after 12 weeks off, simply unlucky to bump into one revitalised by first-time headgear; in touch, headway over 1f out, stayed on, no impression on winner.

back on all-weather over 1f shorter trip for his handicap debut, ran better than last time without getting near the performance he produced on debut, possible he's not entirely straightfroward; in touch, chased leader over 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly and hung left, weakened final 1f.

With the favourite disappointing, this probably didn't take as much winning as might have been the case, but it still produced an impressive winner who cleared right away in first-time headgear.
