couldn't justify market strength but still shaped perfectly encouragingly after 8 months off, not yet the finished article; patiently ridden, steady headway out wide from 3f out, edged left but threatened briefly 1f out, effort flattened out; still unexposed, she's worth another chance.

was seemingly found out in a warmer race at this sort of level, though he had missed 2 months, shaping as if still in top form either way; mid-division, shaken up 2f out, not quicken, kept on again last ½f.

A couple dominated the betting - only one other was at single-figure odds - but only the race-sharp one of them fired at full capacity, which even then carried him to only a scrambling win over the pair who'd sat first and second for much of the way.

DUAL IDENTITY (IRE) confirmed the promise of his reappearance as he enhanced his yard's fine record here, not winning by far but in a race in which nothing else got to the placed pair; travelled smoothly, settled in touch, steady headway from 3f out, led under pressure final 100 yds, driven out; he can't go up much, either.

MANGO BOY couldn't justify market strength but still shaped perfectly encouragingly after 8 months off, not yet the finished article; patiently ridden, steady headway out wide from 3f out, edged left but threatened briefly 1f out, effort flattened out; still unexposed, she's worth another chance.
