proved at least as good as ever, suited by the way the race developed; waited with (keen early), steady headway from 3f out, ridden 2f out, edged ahead close home; he doesn't have too many miles on the clock and should remain competitive.

was well backed without his usual headgear having fallen to a career-low mark and returned to form after 8 months off; in rear, good headway down centre from 3f out, edged ahead entering final 1f, headed final strides; a Group 2 winner as a juvenile, this was just his second start on an all-weather surface.

shaped well making his all-weather debut after 8 months off, doing best of those ridden close up; tracked pace, travelled well, led over 2f out, headed approaching final 1f, rallied late on (possibly short of room close home); lightly raced for his age, he'll prove suited by a return to 1¼m and looks the type to win a good race or 2 this season, one to be interested in with this under his belt.

SIR BUSKER (IRE) proved at least as good as ever, suited by the way the race developed; waited with (keen early), steady headway from 3f out, ridden 2f out, edged ahead close home; he doesn't have too many miles on the clock and should remain competitive.

FIRMAMENT ran respectably after 3 months off (raced at Meydan earlier this year), beaten by a trio of younger rivals having briefly looked set to win himself; mid-division, travelled smoothly, close up from halfway, led over 1f out, headed entering last ½f, weakened.

SO BELOVED might have needed the run after 6 months off, though is on a long losing run; raced off the pace, headway over 2f out, no further impression.

IRREVERENT without the cheekpieces this time, offered little making his all-weather debut after 8 months off; mid-division, ridden 3f out, never dangerous.

ARCANADA (IRE) continues below form; soon led, raced freely, headed over 2f out, dropped away quickly.
