back on all-weather, quickly got back on the up to make a mockery of his mark, and it was encouraging that he had no problem with the relatively fast turnaround given his profile; chased leaders, tanked along, led 2f out, soon clear and around 6 lengths clear when heavily eased in the final 50 yds; there was sufficient promise in his reappearance to suggest he'll be as effective on turf, and he appeals as one who'll be high on the shortlist for some big handicap pots this summer, before possibly going onto even better things.

back under a fully-fledged rider/back on all-weather, wasted no time getting back to form at a track where he's building a good record; raced off the pace, outpaced 3f out, kept on well from 2f out, never nearer but flattered by proximity to eased-down winner.

after 5 weeks off and upped in grade, did enough to show he remains in good form under a typically positive ride; disputed lead, went on before halfway, headed 2f out, ran on.

shaped as if better for the run after 5 months off; mid-division, headway 2f out, briefly looked set to come through for second, but no extra inside final 1f; ended 3-y-o campaign on the up (when beating a next-time-out winner) and should be back on song with this under his belt.

claimer ridden, should strip fitter for the run after 6 months off; waited with, took strong hold, headway around 2f out, effort flattened out; hasn't won for the best part of 2 years but has edged down to a handy mark so not one to write off.

Handicap form to view positively, the easy winner destined for better things whilst the others to make the frame either have good recent form to their name and/or look fairly treated; the gallop picked up from halfway.
