the least exposed of these as a chaser, seemed much more at home returned to a galloping track and got back on the up, certainly not the first winner in recent days who'd probably been disadvantaged under a patient ride at Windsor; led main group, led overall soon after 2 out, driven out.

has responded well to the fitting of cheekpieces and ran just about as well in defeat as when winning the time before, finding only a less-exposed novice from another top yard too good; raced off pace, took time to warm to task, smooth headway out wide after 4 out, ridden 2 out, stayed on.

backed up previous effort under an extremely aggressive ride that soon had them strung out, doing well to last as long as he did, though his jumping remains a serious cause for concern; soon well clear, not fluent twelfth, hit 5 out, reduced advantage 3 out, bad mistake next where lost all momentum and soon headed, one paced.

seemed to pay for being the one to go after Sheldon, still an unknown if he's fully effective at 3m; chased clear leader and well ahead of remainder, not fluent ninth, awkward thirteenth, ridden 3 out, no extra from next.

found even a well-run race at 3m barely enough of a test; raced off the pace, pushed along 5 out, plugged on from 2 out; remains totally unexposed at marathon trips.
