already represents some strong formlines and wasted no time getting back on the up, several potential catalysts, away from testing ground and back down in trip, also in a lesser race than on handicap debut and taking on his elders for the first time; mid-field, progress around 2f out, stayed on to lead entering final 1f, edged left, kept on; already useful and could easily have more to offer, he'll remain of interest.

again shaped encouragingly, the way he made his move into contention catching the eye before he was essentially just seen off by a stouter stayer at the trip (first try beyond 7f this year); patiently ridden, raced freely, good headway around 2f out, quickened to lead over 1f out, headed final 1f, stuck to task, pulled clear of remainder; will be at least as effective back at 7f and looks sure to remain of plenty of interest.

without headgear this time, shaped better than the distance beaten suggests; led, raced freely, pushed along over 2f out, carried head bit high, headed under 2f out, dropped away, found the test too much; will prove suited by a return to 6f.

Handicap form to view in a positive light, a couple of upwardly-mobile 3-y-os coming a little way clear of some in-form older rivals, both worth keeping on side in the coming weeks.

CRACK SHOT (IRE) already represents some strong formlines and wasted no time getting back on the up, several potential catalysts, away from testing ground and back down in trip, also in a lesser race than on handicap debut and taking on his elders for the first time; mid-field, progress around 2f out, stayed on to lead entering final 1f, edged left, kept on; already useful and could easily have more to offer, he'll remain of interest.
