proved better than ever, reverted to front running under conditions which suited such tactics, likely seen to maximum advantage; led, shaken up 2f out, kept on well final 1f, ridden out; she'd have to find a bit more in something like the Flying Childers, probably not easy to place for the rest of the year.

The market leaders generally failed to fire, leaving the race to some longer-priced runners, the form no better than average for the race, unlikely that this will throw up contenders for better races into the autumn, the field racing as one group, centre to stand side, but a low draw possibly an advantage, a prominent position likewise.

CUBAN MISTRESS proved better than ever, reverted to front running under conditions which suited such tactics, likely seen to maximum advantage; led, shaken up 2f out, kept on well final 1f, ridden out; she'd have to find a bit more in something like the Flying Childers, probably not easy to place for the rest of the year.
