hadn't been out since not quite staying 1m in the Guineas, but looks set to make up for lost time as a 7f specialist, much improved taking on older rivals and males, her turn of foot decisive at the end of a well-run affair; held up, travelled well, headway under 2f out, led inside final 1f, quickened clear, won readily; has more to offer and will continue to give a good account.

hadn't run his race on soft ground when favourite for the Horris Hill last autumn, but confirmed himself a smart colt on his belated return, finishing the race off well, likely to stay 1m, given the chance; held up, pushed along 3f out, good headway approaching final 1f, took second final 50 yds, ran on; he may do better still.

wasn't in the same form as last time, facing a better class of opposition, her chance rather overestimated by the market; chased leader, not settle fully, shaken up over 2f out, every chance over 1f out, no extra.

in first-time blinkers, took a step forward, just rather overdoing things in the lead, worth another try at 6f, though his entries - in the Sprint Cup and Champions Sprint - require quite a bit more from him; raced freely in a clear lead, shaken up and reduced advantage over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra.

One of the top 7f races in the British calendar, a pair of relatively unexposed 3-y-os proving too good for some smart older rivals, the winner the first of her age to land the Hungerford since her stable's Adaay scored in 2015, the well-run race set up by the free-going Nando Parrado.
