progressed again to spring a bit of a surprise up in grade, handling the ground well and suited by the emphasis on stamina at the trip; tracked pace, short of room briefly under 2f out, good progress entering final 1f, stayed on to lead final 100 yds.

ran well back at listed level, the winner probably that bit better suited by conditions and the accompanying emphasis on stamina, Al Raya a very speedy filly; jumped rather awkwardly, chased leaders, went with zest, quickened to lead over 1f out, headed final 100 yds, kept on and little way clear of rest.

upped in grade, is better than she could show here; awkward leaving stalls, mid-field, took keen hold, denied a run under 2f out, took time to recover but kept on quite well late on; this confirms she's made a bright start to her career, and she remains open to further improvement.

has seemingly reached her limit in form terms, acknowledging conditions probably weren't ideal for one who shows plenty of speed (won her maiden on firm ground); soon led, headed over 1f out, held when wandered inside final 1f, no extra late on.

had her lack of experience exposed from quite an early stage, quite possibly unsuited by the different conditions too, and she's plainly better judged on her debut success (form that's been upheld since); bumped start, raced off the pace, went in snatches, left behind over 1f out.

Non Runners: DAUGHTER IN LAW (IRE), DIVINE SPIRIT, HAND ON MY HEART.

Winning Owner: Mr James Fyffe & Mr Scott Fyffe

Time: 1m 2.69s Closing Sectional: (4.00f): 47.25s (103.1%)

Conditions and a sound gallop seemed to place something of a premium on experience in this listed event, while the fact that the field gradually worked their way across to the stand rail meant a few further back encountered traffic problems, probably an advantage in racing handily as a result, both reasons to think this was probably one of the lesser recent runnings of the race.

ORLAITH (IRE) progressed again to spring a bit of a surprise up in grade, handling the ground well and suited by the emphasis on stamina at the trip; tracked pace, short of room briefly under 2f out, good progress entering final 1f, stayed on to lead final 100 yds.

AL RAYA ran well back at listed level, the winner probably that bit better suited by conditions and the accompanying emphasis on stamina, Al Raya a very speedy filly; jumped rather awkwardly, chased leaders, went with zest, quickened to lead over 1f out, headed final 100 yds, kept on and little way clear of rest.

DR SIMPSON (FR) who attracted support, found things a bit easier than in the Molecomb the time before, though seemed beaten on merit by the first pair, acknowleding this was her first try on ground softer than good; prominent, effort under 2f out, kept on.

JOUSKA upped in grade, is better than she could show here; awkward leaving stalls, mid-field, took keen hold, denied a run under 2f out, took time to recover but kept on quite well late on; this confirms she's made a bright start to her career, and she remains open to further improvement.

ISHVARA up in grade, is much better judged on debut form; in touch, effort when shuffled back/ran green under 2f out, no chance after, not knocked about at all; remains capable of better.
