goes well at this track and when fresh, only 1 lb above his last winning mark too, and primed off a 10-week break he was back to his very best for a fifth career win; pressed leader, travelled strongly, led over 1f out, soon clear; this wasn't a strong race and a career-high mark probably beckons given the manner of it.

handicapper seems in control but she ran up to her best, quickly back on track after Ascot; made running, headed over 1f out, kept on and gave her all in battle for second.

ran respectably after 8 weeks off and, although he hasn't been quite at his very best all year, he's not done a lot wrong either and it's worth noting that his wins have come on all-weather or soft ground; prominent, pushed along over 2f out, one paced.

All 7 ran.

Winning Owner: The Breden Racing Partnership

Time: 1m 39.63s Closing Sectional: (4.00f): 48.50s (102.7%)

Not a well contested race for the grade even before taking into account the handful of disappointments on the day and the 8-y-o winner did it readily.

BREDEN (IRE) goes well at this track and when fresh, only 1 lb above his last winning mark too, and primed off a 10-week break he was back to his very best for a fifth career win; pressed leader, travelled strongly, led over 1f out, soon clear; this wasn't a strong race and a career-high mark probably beckons given the manner of it.

CONSIDERED OPINION handicapper seems in control but she ran up to her best, quickly back on track after Ascot; made running, headed over 1f out, kept on and gave her all in battle for second.

ALMOREB (IRE) ran respectably after 8 weeks off and, although he hasn't been quite at his very best all year, he's not done a lot wrong either and it's worth noting that his wins have come on all-weather or soft ground; prominent, pushed along over 2f out, one paced.

PROST (GER) was below form after 7 weeks off and is proving more miss than hit; tracked pace, ridden over 2f out, left behind final 1f.

REBEL ASSAULT (IRE) after just 7 days off, ran one of this season's lesser races, a busy spell maybe catching up with her; prominent, lost place 2f out, dropped away.
