had been better than the result last time, the first to commit on the 'wrong' side in the Albany and took a significant step forward, well served by the run of the race but stamping her authority on it with a fine burst of speed; held up, travelled well, headway 2f out, led 1f out, kept on well, won readily; open to yet further improvement and one to be interested in again.

was quickly back on the up, even though no match for the winner inside the final 1f, ridden closer to the pace than that rival, perhaps asked for her effort sooner than ideal; tracked pace, travelled well, led 2f out, ran green, headed 1f out, kept on; still needed experience and likely to progress again.

wasn't disgraced, running about as well as could have been expected upped in grade, though it was all a bit of a struggle for him; chased leaders, off the bridle before most, ridden over 2f out, not quicken.

Not many of these were at their best in a race that sorted the wheat from the chaff, 2 fillies that had contested the Albany at Royal Ascot dominating the closing stages, the rest well strung out behind, both useful and open to further improvement, the winner altogether a more complete package at this stage.

MADELINE (IRE) had been better than the result last time, the first to commit on the 'wrong' side in the Albany and took a significant step forward, well served by the run of the race but stamping her authority on it with a fine burst of speed; held up, travelled well, headway 2f out, led 1f out, kept on well, won readily; open to yet further improvement and one to be interested in again.

ANOTHER BATT (IRE) ran respectably back in listed company, just lacking the pace and the class of the first 2; in touch, outpaced over 2f out, stayed on final 1f.

SIMMY'S COPSHOP was a bit below his best, his limitations at this level already established anyway; held up, ridden over 2f out, not quicken final 1f.

LOOKS A MILLION up in grade, was well held after 6 weeks off over 1f longer trip, lack of stamina a possible factor; led, ridden over 2f out, headed soon after, weakened over 1f out.

WAY OF WISDOM was well held after 8 weeks off, clearly not himself; in touch, ridden over 2f out, weakened soon after, not knocked about.
