found one too good for the fourth time in 5 starts but again did nothing wrong, not seen to best effect either, making her effort earlier than ideal in a race where the pair she split were both played late; mid-field, smooth headway 3f out, produced to lead 2f out, headed final 100 yds, no extra; remains likely to pick up a similar event at some point.

under a fully-fledged rider this time, took a step forward from debut, and deserves extra credit having been in the firing line from the outset in a race where the other principals where ridden with far more restraint; made running, pushed along around 3f out, headed over 2f out, still green under pressure but stuck to task well until no extra final 100 yds; open to further progression.

went close in a maiden that has worked out well last time, shaping as if 1m would suit, but was easy to back and failed in no uncertain terms to back up that effort; ridden more patiently (mid-field), took keen hold, headway under 3f out, no extra over 1f out; worth another chance.

A fillies' maiden run into a headwind, but whilst the newcomers in first and third were helped by patient rides, both appeal as useful prospects all the same, this pair split by one of the standard setters, who was probably sent for home earlier than ideal; further back, the next 3 home all remain with potential, too; the gallop was sound.

STANDING ROCK (IRE) (50,000Y: by Fastnet Rock: closely related to useful 2-y-o 1m winner (stayed 1½m) Reckoning (by Danehill Dancer) and 6f winner (stayed 8.5f) New Hope (by Exceed And Excel) and half-sister to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Stylish One (by Invincible Spirit): dam 1m winner) makes plenty of appeal on paper and ran to a fairly ueful level to make a winning debut, seen to better effect than the runner-up, held onto for longer in a race run into a headwind, but showing a professional attitude that will stand her in good stead; held up, shaken up over 2f out, headway soon after, stayed on to lead final 100 yds; entitled to do better.
