put herself in line for a Guineas trial next spring, an unbeaten first season opening up all sorts of possibilities, especially as it shouldn't be underestimated how much it took to overpower her pattern-placed stablemate, bridging the gap in form and real terms, left with a few lengths to make up as Glitter Girl committed over 1f out, and what's more she managed it cosily, shaking off her lingering greenness along the way; it looks like she'll relish 1m next year.
held up, ridden and headway 2f out, stayed on to lead final 50 yds

professionalism has shone alongside her useful ability, and did everything right again here, saying far more about the potential of her stablemate that she was caught by her in the last 50 yds, after responding on request to lead over 1f out, that move too much for everything else.
mid-field, led over 1f out, kept on well, headed final 50 yds, clear of rest

finished much closer to Glitter Girl than she had in the Oh So Sharp, that big-race involvement putting an extra edge on her, bettering the form of her earlier wins, if in a minor rather than major way, soon handy from a draw on the flank and every chance 2f out, the first 2 still showing her what a real listed-class filly looks like; she still has 1m+ to explore.
handy, every chance 2f out, kept on

outclassing a weak field at Newcastle on her debut hardly set her up for this fast-track to listed level, and her immaturity was apparent, particularly at the end of the race, but before then she impressed with how quickly and easily she'd made her ground from the back, suggesting firstly that she belongs at this level and secondly that there's more improvement to be drawn out as her skills are refined.
held up, headway after 2f out, chased leaders 1f out, ran green, one paced

positive start in the summer, but given time since, and she wasn't quite ready for this classier company, struggling as things hotted up, her edging left a sign of inexperience, either that or less at home on this easier ground; this lesson should at least serve to put her on the front foot for next season.

did a lot through the first half of the season, over 5f/6f, and she's not really designed for this test, not settling fully, a 2-month break maybe having something to do with that, but deserving credit for getting in the firing line (if only briefly) over 1f out.

Pattern-placed Glitter Girl set the bar high, so it reflects very well on her less-hardened stablemate that she could get the better of her in the finish, the pair well on top of the rest, all of whom found it a struggle in listed company, with the exception of Castleacre; it was a true test.

CRISTAL FIZZ (IRE) put herself in line for a Guineas trial next spring, an unbeaten first season opening up all sorts of possibilities, especially as it shouldn't be underestimated how much it took to overpower her pattern-placed stablemate, bridging the gap in form and real terms, left with a few lengths to make up as Glitter Girl committed over 1f out, and what's more she managed it cosily, shaking off her lingering greenness along the way; it looks like she'll relish 1m next year.
