showed turf holds no fears as he maintained unbeaten record in familiarly impressive fashion, looking all over a Group-race winner waiting to happen; held up, tanked along, in touch 2f out, produced to lead inside final 1f, had plenty in hand, confidently ridden; open to further improvement and needs keeping on side wherever he goes next.

benefited from step back up in trip (more settled now) and showed much improved form, plenty of credit in finishing so far clear of the rest for all he was no match for the winner; made running, went with zest, shaken up 2f out, headed inside final 1f, stuck to task; he'll be competitive again at this level for sure.

edged favouritism late on but was below form for no obvious reason; held up, headway from halfway, effort 2f out, not quicken, weakened final 1f.

All 5 ran.

Winning Owner: Mr Paul G. Jacobs

Time: 1m 11.21s

A couple of poor efforts don't take any gloss off the form between the first 2, with the front-running second - who set a good pace - value for a chunk of improvement but no match for a winner who's destined for the top.

LIMATO (IRE) showed turf holds no fears as he maintained unbeaten record in familiarly impressive fashion, looking all over a Group-race winner waiting to happen; held up, tanked along, in touch 2f out, produced to lead inside final 1f, had plenty in hand, confidently ridden; open to further improvement and needs keeping on side wherever he goes next.
