looked her yard's second string but progressed again after 5 months off to make the breakthrough at pattern level; chased leaders, produced to lead over 1f out, kept going well; will stay further than 1m, and there should be even better to come.

strong in the betting, failed to justify that market confidence but there were still plenty of positives to take from this performance; held up, forced to switch to unfavoured inside rail under 2f out, kept on, not knocked about; remains open to improvement, particularly as her stamina is drawn out (will stay 1¼m).

All 9 ran.

Winning Owner: Sean Jones/David Spratt/Mrs Lynne Lyons

Time: 1m 49.62s

Not the deepest renewal of this Group 3 for fillies and mares, Hamariyna the only one previously successful at this level, but a very interesting one all the same with 3-y-os accounting for more than half of the field; Even So was all the rage in the market but it was her stable-companion, Lemista, who came out on top.

LEMISTA (IRE) looked her yard's second string but progressed again after 5 months off to make the breakthrough at pattern level; chased leaders, produced to lead over 1f out, kept going well; will stay further than 1m, and there should be even better to come.

HAMARIYNA (IRE) successful at this level during a truncated 3-y-o campaign, resumed progress after an absence of 9 months; mid-division, forced wide over 1f out, stayed on, never nearer; will remain of interest (should stay 1¼m).

EVEN SO (IRE) strong in the betting, failed to justify that market confidence but there were still plenty of positives to take from this performance; held up, forced to switch to unfavoured inside rail under 2f out, kept on, not knocked about; remains open to improvement, particularly as her stamina is drawn out (will stay 1¼m).

MISS MYERS (IRE) on first outing since leaving Thomas Mullins after 5 months off, left previous efforts behind; held up, pushed along entering straight, had to pick way through, kept on, never nearer.

RAVEN'S CRY (IRE) back up in trip, shaped as if better for the run after 6 months off; chased leaders, pushed along around 2f out, no extra final 1f.

CERRO BAYO (IRE) down in trip, was found wanting for know-how in this company after 7 months off, but this still represents an improvement on her winning debut form; in rear, went in snatches, forced wide straight, kept on, never landed a blow; open to further improvement.

BLISSFUL (IRE) shaped as if needing the run after 6 months off; close up, pushed along early in straight, led briefly 2f out, faded, not unduly punished; likely to be much closer to form next time.

KISS FOR A JEWEL (IRE) back down in trip, was below form after 5 months off; led until around 2f out, dropped away.

ANNIE FIOR (IRE) back on turf, ran no better than on return after another 11 weeks off; mid-field, ridden over 3f out, weakened.
