All 10 ran.

Winning Owner: Derrick Smith, Mrs J. Magnier & M. Tabor

Time: 1m 10.46s

A Group 3 sprint that has won by some smart performers over the years and this renewal looks no different, with So Perfect taking the drop back in trip in her stride and running out an impressive winner in a race in which most of her nearest market rivals failed to fire.

SO PERFECT (USA) back down in trip, produced just about her best effort to date and resumed winning ways in clear-cut fashion; in touch, travelled well, quickened to lead entering final 1f, comfortably; she's entered in both the Commonwealth Cup and the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, with the former appealing as the more realistic option at this stage.

GUSTAVUS WESTON (IRE) seemed to excel himself, albeit in a race in which several failed to fire; mid-field, ridden approaching 2f out, fourth 1f out, ran on, no impression on winner; remains to be seen if able to back this up.

FLASH GORDON (IRE) back down in trip, ran to a similar level to last time, doing his best work late on; waited with, ridden approaching 2f out, stayed on, nearest at the finish; remains open to improvement (will benefit from a return to 7f).

WESTERN FRONTIER (USA) got back on track without necessarily shaping like a winner in waiting; close up, led briefly approaching 1f out, one paced.

GEE REX (IRE) back down in trip, ran as well as could be expected in this grade after 7 months off; in touch, ridden 2f out, one paced.

MIA MENTO (IRE) ran creditably in face of a stiff task; chased leaders, ridden 2f out, faded entering final 1f.

EMPIRE LINE (IRE) was below form upped in grade, possibly just finding the race coming too soon after just 8 days off; led, ridden over 1f out, headed approaching final 1f, no extra.
