returned to form, and winning ways, having been in a bit of a lull since winning the 'Dash', arguably shaping only second best at the weights but doing well under the circumstances nevertheless; mid-division, ridden when not clear run over 1f out, stayed on to lead close home.

bounced back to his best, and was probably unlucky not to win, acknowledging the winner also had to wait for a gap; hampered early, off pace, going well when not clear run over 1f out, got gap inside final 1f, finished well, just failed; lightly raced for the time of year, he's proven in the mud and is one to keep on side the rest of the year.

confirmed return to form, and looks up to winning before the year is out, worth remembering he's proven on soft ground; pressed leader, led over 1f out, tackled soon after, headed close home.

2 lb well-in under a penalty, was strong in the betting but possibly found the race coming too soon; chased leaders, travelled well, every chance over 1f out, found little.
