well backed after just 5 days off, only needed to replicate her form in defeat in a much deeper race at Goodwood last month to get off the mark for the season, though with nothing to spare; made all, kicked on over 2f out, closed down last ½f, just held on; this is probably her trip and she can't be ruled out back in more competitive events.

easy to back tackling 7f for just the second time in her career, probably should have won, exaggerated hold-up tactics rarely the best approach around this track; steadied at the start, dropped out, still plenty to do 2f out, kept on well, just failed, left with a lot to do; this clearly opens up more options for her and, already pretty prolific this season, she should gain compensation before long.

ran to a similar level as when winning here earlier in the month, just lacking a gear change late on in this slightly better company; mid-division, not clear run briefly over 1f out, every chance inside final 1f, kept on.

ran respectably and is gradually edging down the weights; pressed leader, edged right over 1f out, not quicken last ½f (short of room for a stride or 2).

wasn't seen to best effect back up at 7f (worth persevering with at this trip); held up, going well when not clear run from under 2f out, kept on final 1f, left poorly placed.

might have needed the run after 10 weeks off, though she seems a better filly over 6f; prominent out wide early, settled in touch after 2f, every chance under 2f out, no extra final 1f.

A race of fine margins, the winner making all under a good ride though the result likely to have been different had the runner-up not been asked to come from quite so far behind, the form overall not particularly strong.

REBEL ASSAULT (IRE) well backed after just 5 days off, only needed to replicate her form in defeat in a much deeper race at Goodwood last month to get off the mark for the season, though with nothing to spare; made all, kicked on over 2f out, closed down last ½f, just held on; this is probably her trip and she can't be ruled out back in more competitive events.

CROTCHET ran to a similar level as when winning here earlier in the month, just lacking a gear change late on in this slightly better company; mid-division, not clear run briefly over 1f out, every chance inside final 1f, kept on.
