strong in betting, confirmed promise of last run in scoring over jumps for the first time since joining this stable, ridden closer to the pace than usual and stamping his seal on things in good style, albeit having got first run; close up, led before 3 out, effort after next, stayed on strongly; sure to go well again.

continues at the top of his game, not out of things from 11 lb higher than at Kelso judged on this; prominent, travelled strongly, bad mistake 3 out, shaken up after next, kept on.

making handicap debut, progressed again, arguably worth extra credit for coming from right out the back in a race that wasn't truly run, up to winning a race or 2 over hurdles for sure; in rear, mistake third, shaken up after 4 out, good progress next, chased leaders between last 2, stayed on.

looked on a fair mark for handicap debut but wasn't really seen to best effect, even then running close to form; held up, headway before 3 out, effort next, stayed on and finished with running left, likely to have benefited from a stronger gallop; remains with potential and should be thereabouts next time.

without the headgear this time, back over hurdles, took step back in right direction, though laboured tendencies were again on show; held up, went with little fluency, chased leaders pushed along home turn, plugged on.

starts out in handicaps on a fair mark but shaped as if needing run after 10 months off, all in all well worth another chance to prove the point; close up, shuffled back home turn, weakened last.

looked a likely improver on handicap debut but proved easy enough to back and was below form; raced wide, mid-division, ridden before 3 out, made no impression; still early days, he's by no means one to write off.

might have needed run on first outing since leaving John Ferguson after 10 months off but didn't do much to suggest he's going to be of any interest in handicaps from this sort of mark any time soon; disputed lead, headed before 3 out, weakened soon after, beaten when blundered 2 out.

More interesting horses than the norm for a northern handicap hurdle and it's worth being positive about the first 4, even if a steady gallop meant it wasn't an entirely satisfactory race.

STREETS OF NEWYORK strong in betting, confirmed promise of last run in scoring over jumps for the first time since joining this stable, ridden closer to the pace than usual and stamping his seal on things in good style, albeit having got first run; close up, led before 3 out, effort after next, stayed on strongly; sure to go well again.
