enhanced her promising start with a second lengthy-odds success from as many appearances, bred for the Flat but having no problem with the longer trip, though her speed does look her main asset all the same; in touch, travelled smoothly, quickened to lead under 3f out, ridden over 2f out, ran on.

looked the pick on form but probably didn't quite show it, possibly short of peak fitness after 9 weeks off, also asked to come from a fair way back; patiently ridden, still plenty to do back straight, crept closer from home turn, chased leader under 3f out, threatened briefly but edged left as effort flattened out well inside final 1f.

up in grade after 7 weeks off, ran to a similar level as for her debut win whilst leaving the impression she'll ideally need a stiffer test of stamina to flourish; waited with, in touch when pushed along entering straight, effort around 3f out, stayed on.

isn't yet the finished article and, under less testing conditions, shaped as though she needs the emphasis more on stamina as well; made running, headway shaped to run out briefly circuit out, hung left back straight, ridden when headed under 3f out, not quicken.

All 6 ran. Race Distance Adjustment: +96 yds

Winning Owner: Mr R. P. Gallagher

Time: 4m 13.8s

A smaller field and lower quality than the inaugural running of this in 2017, though the winner was maintaining an unbeaten start and the runner-up still had some fairly useful form to her name; the field didn't get strung out but that wasn't down to the gallop, which began to pick up after halfway.

WHO WHAT WHEN enhanced her promising start with a second lengthy-odds success from as many appearances, bred for the Flat but having no problem with the longer trip, though her speed does look her main asset all the same; in touch, travelled smoothly, quickened to lead under 3f out, ridden over 2f out, ran on.

MRS HYDE (IRE) looked the pick on form but probably didn't quite show it, possibly short of peak fitness after 9 weeks off, also asked to come from a fair way back; patiently ridden, still plenty to do back straight, crept closer from home turn, chased leader under 3f out, threatened briefly but edged left as effort flattened out well inside final 1f.

SHANTEWE (IRE) up in grade after 7 weeks off, ran to a similar level as for her debut win whilst leaving the impression she'll ideally need a stiffer test of stamina to flourish; waited with, in touch when pushed along entering straight, effort around 3f out, stayed on.

A PERFECT GIFT (IRE) isn't yet the finished article and, under less testing conditions, shaped as though she needs the emphasis more on stamina as well; made running, headway shaped to run out briefly circuit out, hung left back straight, ridden when headed under 3f out, not quicken.

CROSSGALESFAMEGAME (IRE) improved on debut form; tracked pace, shaken up end of back straight, rallied, held over 1f out.

CRACKLE LYN ROSIE wasn't good enough up in grade; patiently ridden, shaken up over 3f out, made no impression.
