claimer ridden, has taken really well to hurdling and put up a useful effort to maintain his unbeaten record in this sphere, again impressing with his response to pressure; made running, pushed along before 2 out, responded well; he'll go on improving, with 3m still to try.

ran well on form less than a month on from his winning debut, no shame in coming off second best to one as resolute and professional as the winner, still getting to grips with things himself and sure to learn from this; chased leader, travelled well, upsides 3 out, effort after next, every chance last, one paced.

was below form, more to do back in a novice but overall leaving the impression this third quick race was one too many; held up, pushed along 4 out, soon beaten.

disappointed after 10 weeks off though did at least have an excuse, reportedly bleeding from the nose; held up, shaken up after 3 out, weakened home turn.

It's worth being positive about the efforts of the winner and second, though disappointing runs from the other 2 meant it wasn't quite the competitive race it looked on paper; the winner dictated.
