failed to capitalise on the further drop in grade, though the trip around here away from bad ground was probably as sharp as suits; held up, took closer order 5 out, chased leader straight, not quicken from 2 out.

was in the process of running better than previously this season when departing, though even so a minor role looked the best he could have hoped for had he stood up; in touch, not fluent tenth, twelfth, shaken up 5 out, rallied from 3 out, keeping on in fourth but probably held around 4 lengths down when fell 2 out.
